Time is not on our side

Time.
Our most precious resource.
It isn't renewable.
It doesn't take sides.
It does not pity.
We waste it.
We spend it more frivolously than money even though it is infinitely more valuable.
We complain about never having enough of it while spending what little we do have on things that bring no real value to our lives.
I want you to do something for me.
I want you to take a moment to consider what your life will be like in twenty years if you continue living the way that you are living now.
What does that look like to you?
In your mind's eye, are you fulfilled?
Do you see yourself proud of all that you have accomplished?
Or is it possible that the man you see looking back at you through the lens of time is...disgruntled?
Is he happy?
Or is he regretful?
Only you know the truth, and so it falls to you to be honest with yourself.
Are you living up to your full potential?
Are you trying to live up to it?
In twenty years, will you be disgruntled; regretful?
Or will you be proud of the life you've lived up until that point?
Your current age makes no difference.
What will your life be like in an hour; a day; a week, if you keep living the way that you are currently living?
If you like what you see when you ponder these things, then keep doing what you're doing.
If not, don't.
No excuses.
Take the time that you have left and do something with it.
Don't let another single second pass you by that isn't being put toward something that will make you proud.
I want to see an age where men are men.
I want to see a country where we aren't afraid to be our true selves and to seek after that which the voice inside calls us toward.
"None of us will ever accomplish anything excellent or commanding except when he listens to this whisper which is heard by him alone."
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
Until next time,

Recently I was asked to be one of four moderators for a website that is the home of a project that I truly believe in.
That project is called "The Fraternity of Excellence."
It's a brand new brotherhood of masculine men that want to take control of their lives and to see real change.
These men want to waste no more time.
If that sounds like you, head over to the link above and join.
