Why Am I Doing #DecemberofDiscipline?

I was asked recently by a fellow #DecemberofDiscipline brother what I was aiming to get out of doing the 31 Days to Masculinity challenge again.
You see, this is actually my THIRD go at the #31DTM challenge. The first time around was #MenofMarch.

Hunter Drew, of TheFamilyAlpha.com, created the challenge in an effort to help men reclaim their masculine nature and to live authentic lives, and when I heard about the challenge I jumped at the opportunity to challenge myself and to become better than I was before.
At that, I was successful. I grew, a lot, and I became stronger in every sense of the word. The challenge itself, I failed. I didn't succeed in completing every challenge and I didn't succeed in making a video every day of March.
I failed #MenofMarch.

The second attempt was in the form of the same challenge labeled #GentlemenofJune. It came during the month of June, not long after the publication of 31 Days to Masculinity: A Guide to Help Men Live Authentic Lives, by, you guessed it, Hunter Drew.
This, too, was a failure on my part. My heart wasn't in it during June and I didn't give my full effort. And it left me sore. Twice, now, I had tried this challenge and I had failed. But failure is how we learn and how we grow as men.
Even so, I failed #GentlemenofJune.
So, why am I doing #DecemberofDiscipline? I'm doing it for redemption; to show myself that I am capable of it. I'm doing it to grow stronger; to become more than I currently am. I will complete #DecemberofDiscipline to be part of a brotherhood of men who are fighting to complete it. I will do it because I want other men to see that it's possible to take control of their lives; I want to help other men climb out of the dark hole that I once knew all too well.
As November winds down and the big day, December 1st, looms, I am preparing mentally and physically and I am ready for it like never before.
I will NOT fail #DecemberofDiscipline.
